Bondic UV plastic welder. I bought this at Hobby Town.
I recently bought a new console for the Sunchaser, but these are all old plastics that are very brittle. It started to develop cracks at key weak points.
You spread the mystey goop on in a thin layer. In this case, I glued the partf first with gorilla glue super glue, and overlaid small pieces of screen to hold the mend together. Then, you use the small UV light to cure it into hard plastic.
Fun to use, and definitely would recommend. I paid $17, and am going to buy extra fluid. This product is recommended by ImmoralMinority. I am not a paid spokesman, but would shamelessly cash the check if one was offered.
Next, I will attempt to use it to fix the needle on my radio.

I have experimented with epoxy a number of times, but I find it to be far from the miracle adhesive that it looks like it ought to be.
Here’s what you need though; do you remember these? I had one and I was kind of underwhelmed by it:

Good to know this exists, as my previous plastic welding has been with a soldering iron, and that only kind of works.
